Welcome to Suburban Fitness: A Guide to Keeping Fit and Healthy!

Hi everyone, Mark Harrisson here, I’m so excited to be writing blog posts for Suburban Fitness. As the Owner and a personal trainer, I’m passionate about helping people make healthy and sustainable lifestyle changes. When it comes to nutrition, weight loss, healthy eating, and the benefits of exercise, there’s so much information out there that it can be hard to know where to start so with that in mind, let me tell you a bit more about my blog posts.

As a Chef in my former life for over 30 years, Nutrition is one of my main focuses when discussing lifestyle changes with clients. I strive to help people understand the importance of nutrition in their overall health and wellness journey. Nutrition gives our bodies the energy it needs to move throughout the day and stay active. I will discuss the key components of a balanced diet as well as practical tips for eating healthier each day.

Weight Loss is another topic that I will cover in the blogs. Weight loss can be an intimidating concept for many people, but it doesn't have to be! I will provide easy to follow guidance on how to achieve your desired weight loss goals through healthy lifestyle changes such as exercising regularly and creating an effective meal plan that works best for you. Additionally, I will discuss why it is important to focus on making sustainable lifestyle changes instead of quick-fix solutions.

Finally, the blogs will cover the Benefits of Exercise, chiefly the benefits of group fitness and why it is important to incorporate physical activity into your daily routine. Exercise has proven mental and physical benefits such as improving mood, increasing energy levels, boosting metabolism, reducing stress levels, etc. Additionally, exercise can help reduce your risk of chronic illnesses like heart disease or diabetes by maintaining optimal health levels through regular physical activity.

Overall, the goal with these blog posts is to provide helpful advice on nutrition, weight loss, healthy eating habits, and the benefits of exercise in order to help you reach your fitness goals!
